Grabba & Leaf: a quick guide

Grabba or fronto? Grabba (Busshead) is loose, crumbled leaf. A pinch adds a strong tobacco taste and aroma to whatever you roll. Fronto is a whole or large piece of leaf that you use as the wrap itself. Crushed fronto (OG Crushed, Fronto King Dark Crush) is fronto broken down for sprinkling, like grabba.

Dark or natural? Darker leaf is fermented longer and tastes richer and stronger. Lighter leaf is milder. If you're new to it, start with a small pinch of grabba before moving to a full fronto roll.

Rolling fronto. Leaf that's too dry will crack. If it's brittle, rest it in a sealed bag with a slightly damp paper towel (not touching the leaf) for a short while until it bends without breaking. Remove the thick center vein before rolling.

Keeping it fresh. Keep leaf sealed and out of sunlight. Once it's open, a zip bag or airtight jar keeps it soft for longer.
